Malibu Splash Sparkling Beverages
With new American-made copper stills, a veteran distiller and a handcrafted ethos, Dogfish Head Distilling Co. has expanded its distilling program with the launch of its 100% scratch-made spirits line.
Their state-of-the-art distillery is in the center of the Milton campus, giving them access to the same quality ingredients, brewing expertise and equipment used to make Dogfish Head’s off-centered ales.
At the heart of the distilling operation are two 500-gallon copper stripping stills and a 250-gallon copper vodka column, sourced from fourth-generation custom fabricator Vendome Copper & Brass Works in Louisville, KY.

Founded by Sam and Mariah Calagione back in 1995, Dogfish continues to be an independent, family-controlled company moving in a slightly off-centered direction.
When they opened in downtown Rehoboth as the smallest commercial brewery, they began with a straight forward, but unorthodox mission: off-centered ales for off-centered people. Flash forward to today. They’re a bigger – but still small – brewery, with the same mission.
Brooklyn Special Effects is a hoppy lager with an unexpected zesty aroma and pleasantly bitter finish. The beer gets its bready sweetness from a blend of specialty malts, and its surprising nose from dry-hopping with citrus-forward hops–a technique rarely used in non-alcoholic brewing. We use a specially developed fermentation method that limits the amount of alcohol that is created, while allowing more traditional beer flavors to develop. It tastes just like a regular beer, but therein lies the special effect: it’s not.
Who said bold flavor and better ingredients can’t go hand in hand? Crook & Marker, a new brand from the founder of Bai, is USDA Organic Supergrain Alcohol brewed from quinoa, amaranth, millet and cassava. A modern twist on ancient grains, with zero sugar and infinite flavor.
