Faith American Brewing Company, LLC was founded in 2015 as the first step toward a dream that is decades old. Having visited the Catskills as a boy and spent some of my most precious days here, I always suspected I would have a future with these mountains. Twenty-eight years ago, the land was bought that is the home to Faith American. Here in Delaware County, times have been challenging and the once prosperous region has suffered considerably; it was a dream of returning this land and even this region to prosperity, a dream that commerce could restore this magnificent corner of the world to a thriving and vital place in America’s economy that gave birth to the idea of a brewery. It is our hope that Faith will create and sell beautiful beers of all varieties. We will brew at the old dairy farm site and explore this marvelous craft, living in harmony with the land and the people here, harvesting our potential together as Faith American Brewing Company brings joy to our customers and revenue to the community. May fortune smile on this venture and the good people of our town, these mountains and our blessed nation. Free of shame and without apology, we thank God for the abundance in our lives and for this opportunity.
More than 30 years ago, a group of oxygen- and alcohol-deprived amateur hikers convened in a Pakistan hotel room after summiting the world’s deadliest mountain. There, Flying Dog was born. George Stranahan — a PhD in physics, founder of the Aspen Center for Physics, professional photographer, writer — lead that expedition to the summit of K2 in 1983, at the age of 52. In 1990, George opened a brewpub in Woody Creek, Colorado with Richard McIntyre, a man who continues to be well ahead of his time.
The tavern attracted ordinary neighbors and one less ordinary celebrity — gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. At his urging, Stranahan hired famed British artist and illustrator — the one, the only and the inimitable Ralph Steadman — to design the labels.
Live on the BBC, Ralph scrawled those four simple words across his canvas and their mantra was born.

All Just Ice Tea varieties are certified organic. This means we commit to a third-party verification process that ensures our ingredients are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. Did you know that tea leaves are one of the few agricultural products that are never rinsed? If chemicals are sprayed on tea leaves during the growing process, the chemicals get washed into the hot tea during the brewing process.
Fair Trade Certified™ tea leaves and sweeteners ensure safe, healthy working conditions and fair wages for farming communities. For each pound of fair ingredients we purchase, we pay a premium that goes directly to the workers for them to reinvest in their communities. The workers democratically vote on how the money is spent, empowering the workers, especially the women (who form the majority of tea pluckers), with financial resources and a say in their future. Some fair trade projects include: eyecare for an entire village, water access for an entire village, a playground and a science classroom for a village school.
Made with pure cane sugar and featuring the most unique packaging in the beverage industry, Jones Soda is a one of a kind premium soda known for its bold, unique flavors, colors, and ever changing labels submitted by our consumers.
Created in Vancouver, BC in 1995 from the vision of Jones Soda founder, Peter van Stolk, and photographer/designer Victor John Penner, Jones was launched with the idea of incorporating random photographs onto our bottles using shots taken by Penner. But when consumers began submitting their own photos, we quickly realized that user sourced participation made the brand even more special.
Our flavor lineup includes traditional favorites like Cola, Root Beer, Cream Soda & Orange & Cream, but we also offer tasty, unique options such as Blue Bubblegum, Green Apple, and Strawberry Lime. Limited Edition offerings will continue to make appearances in the Jones lineup, but don’t hold your breath for anything gross or weird. We’re committed to only creating flavors we think are downright! (Jones Soda is a treat after all!)
Yerba mate (yer-bah ma-tay), known scientifically as Ilex paraguariensis, is a tree of the holly family that is native to the Atlantic Forest of South America. In Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, yerba mate is commonly cultivated, but in the forest, a mate tree can grow up to 30 meters (almost 100 feet) in height.
The consumption of yerba mate is related to the unique relationship between Indigenous Peoples and their forest environments developed over millennia through the constant interaction, foraging, and management within the forest and construction and exchange of knowledge and practices for generations, between and among peoples. The knowledge that enabled the dissemination of the consumption and use of yerba mate originates from the Guarani (gwar-a-nee) people.
Indigenous Peoples, including Guarani, Kaingang (kai-gan-g), Aché (a-chay), and other cultures, continue to value the plant for its sacred properties and its ability to naturally energize. The practice of producing and consuming yerba mate was quickly adopted by settlers throughout the 17th, 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries, and has become a significant part of cultural identities in the South American countries of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Today, yerba mate is consumed around the world, and a gourd circle (ronda/roda de mate), the cultural practice of sharing yerba mate among friends, has the power to bring people together.
