Gran Appasso Rosso Passito
A Luca Maroni 2016 “Wine of the Year”, this 70% Primitivo/30% Negroamaro blend was rated 98 points and Best Italian Red Wine. Negroamaro grapes are partially dried, and then blended with primitive grapes, then aged in French oak barrels. This process gives the wine a ripe cherry, super rich and complex finish.
