Paulaner is intrinsically woven into the fabric of Oktoberfest. It has played an active part in Oktoberfest over 200 years ago when it developed its Märzen to celebrate the original Oktoberfest. It still plays a huge part today by being one of only six breweries to serve at the event. The Oktoberfest Wiesn is the only beer served in the Paulaner tents today and is the favorite beer at the Munich Oktoberfest.

This s an amber beer style that was developed over 200 years ago to celebrate the original Oktoberfest. The Märzen name comes from “March beer” because it was historically brewed in March to be at peak flavor for the Oktoberfest celebration.
