The Brewing Process
The beer brewing process begins with malting, where grains (usually barley) are soaked, germinated, and dried to develop fermentable sugars. Next, the grains are mashed with hot water to extract sugars, creating a sweet liquid called wort. The wort is then boiled, and hops are added for flavor and aroma. After boiling, the wort is cooled and transferred to fermentation tanks, where yeast is added to convert sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Once fermentation is complete, the beer is conditioned, filtered, carbonated, and packaged for distribution and enjoyment.
